Leaves or wild budgies?

As you can see, their feathers make them look like they're part of the tree. Anyone could think it's just the reflection of the sunlight on the leaves. Clever budgies!

Their colour is just one thing that makes them special. Not all budgies are green, though. Since the 1850s, breeders have been working to produce a wide range of colour mutations. Budgerigars who live in the wild, on the other hand, need a certain camouflage to trick predators... they're not that easy to spot!
